man, i have been terrible at being consistent on here lately… things in my life are crazy, chaotic, and yes… busy… and i’ve been feeling emotional and overwhelmed… and sometimes i don’t like writing when i feel like that because i’m not sure who it would be of any interest to. i’ve been swamped with shoots lately and “the move” and all the logistics that go along with packing up my home of 8 years and relocating myself and my business to another coast. a friend of mine sent me this song today… and i just loved it. sort of matches my head these days…

i’m not a huge tattoo person, although i’ve got a couple. i’ve found that i like to get them to remind myself of very life altering events… i got one on my forearm shortly after i got divorced. to remind. to never forget. i’m finding that it’s time for another reminder. of this time and place. of what the northwest has been to me the past 8 years. here’s a little outline of what i’m thinking of getting…
and here’s a couple of shots taken yesterday… spring is kicking and fighting for an early arrival. she’s proving to everyone that she’s here… pink blossoms, allergies and all… a little weird for february, but i was needing a little sunshine fix as much as ever. so i’m happy for her tease. i’ll be on here more often soon. i’m just waiting for some of the waves to loll.
