one of the things i love about photography is how it can capture part of your life in a way no other media can. i love snapshots i have of old apartments + stoops of mine because it takes me back to that moment in time. will + lauren kindly allowed me to capture an entire day in their life. i hope they’ll look back one day + fondly remember their early days of living in NYC. their first apartment here. a casual sunday of breakfast in bed + bloody mary’s from scratch. a walk to the farmers market + an afternoon picnic playing cards in the park across from their place. someday in the future they’ll live somewhere else… + have probably enjoy reminiscing this time + place. accompanied by a few of the photos below. thanks you two for letting me in! (i should also add that they just put up their adorable pad on airbnb over christmas + nye if you’re looking for a great place to stay over the holidays…. check it out here!)

haven’s kitchen may just be my favorite wedding venue to date. cooking school, specialty food shop + event space all rolled into one amazing carriage house downtown manhattan. serge + eve had an amazing NY wedding… from getting ready at the wythe hotel in williamsburg, to doing some portraits in front of their brownstone on their tree lined street in fort greene, a few skyline shots in dumbo, + finally on to haven’s kitchen to tie the knot, wine, dine, + dance the night away all surrounded by good friends, amazing food, + a whole lot of love. i mean seriously… what could be better?
